Welcome to the d2jsp LLD (Low Level Dueling) League

These are the rules to LLD, and I expect the VLLD (Very Low Level Duels) Rules to be posted soon:)

All Duels are to be fought in the Blood Moor, with one party starting in town, the other by the Den of Evil, an official will say "Go" and duel will commence.

LEVEL RESTRICTIONS AS THEY RELATE TO CHARACTER CLASS

18 - Amazon
20 - Assassin (melee)
20 - Amazon (melee*)
24 - Assassin **
20 - Barbarian
24 - Barbarian (melee*)
27 - Paladin
29 - Druid
30 - Druid (elemental)
29/30*** - Sorceress
30 - Necromancer
* Melee only characters may not throw any weapons or cast any offensive damage spells.
** At level 24, the assassin may not use charge-up skills
*** At level 30, the sorceress may not use Hydra, Thunderstorm, or Frozen Orb.

SKILL RESTRICTIONS

Having any more than 1 of the Paladin's aura effects active at any given time while dueling your opponent is prohibited (i.e. flashing Holy Freeze until the opponent is chilled, then switching to a damage aura). You ARE allowed to switch auras, as long as you do not purposely exploit the time in which both auras' effects are active at the same time.
The Druid skills Ravens, Spirit Wolves, and Dire Wolves are only allowed for non-melee Druids.

ITEM RESTRICTIONS

The Eth rune is banned from use in weapons (including runewords).
No items with the "Slows target by X%" modifier.
No items with the "X% chance to cast Amplify Damage" modifier.
No Knockback allowed on items.
No poison damage on charms.
No more than 150 poison damage on worn items. (To Accomodate necro heads + wormskull)
No charged items (the item itself may be used, but the charges cannot).
No hacked items (such as "Ith" items, or Imp Brow and Raven Spiral on USEast).
No bugged items (items with abnormal modifiers, such as Oculus SOJs).
No duped items (this rule is left to the descretion of the LLD moderator and handled on a case by case basis).
Hotspur, Infernostride, Nokozan Relic, and Hawkmail may not be used against any character which relies on elemental damage (sorceress, trap assassin, elemental druid, etc).
Iratha's complete set may not be used against any character which relies on elemental damage (only the COMPLETE set is banned).

OTHER RESTRICTIONS:

No mercenaries may be used at any time.
No wells or shrines may be used during duels.
No potions of any kind (including antidote and thawing potions).
No outside third party programs (Since people will use maphack anyways, just cause they're shmucks...Maphack is ALLOWED).

With Regards to maphack being allowed, here's my reasoning....
Amazon is level 18 using a bow (with guided arrow) and no other class has that fast or accurate a ranged attack, even using maphack most charactors will have trouble against a good bowazon, so maphack gives more of an edge.

If you have any questions, or feel any charactor is unbalanced, bring your concerns to Myself or Striker_99 and we will try and clear up the situation:)

Are you sure these lvl things are completely fair with the chance to hit a higher level smaller?

I'm sure:)

zons have guided and for melee, an uninteruptable fast attack (jab)
assassins have charge ups (tiger strike...striker's assn does something like 2k+ damage)
barbs have concentration

it's all been tested, it's pretty even, there may be a change or 2 with regards to paladin level though (down a level or 2)

Druids have charge up things to as well don't they? I'm not sure I've never played or liked the idea of a druid. Your reasoning does seem to make it fair though.

druid have maul/feral rage...

maul is for bears only and increases attack power per hit, though since druids need speed attacks to be effective, damage still isn't too high.... my last druid weapon did about 40 max damage

ferel rage increased run/walk speed, and adds a bit of life leech (wolves only)

the low attack power of druid makes level 29 fair

Also, with the lvl differences gear will be VERY different between a druid and say a melee zon. The druid will have much more better gear and on top of that more dex/vitality....

Zon: Uninteruptable attack, similar damage to druid
Druid: Interuptable attack, similar damage to zon
Zon: lower def cast
druid: ability to use 30/15max's instead of 20
Zon: normal equip = twitch, 90 or so max damage jav, 45max helm, 2x 15 max'd bone shield of deflecting
Druid normal equip = same, but with a 40 max damage crowbill/naga, or maybe a 60 max gothic plate

Druid can't summon anything but bear + spirit for melee.... basicly stuff to leech off of.

it seems even to me, i don't know what u don't get:)

I think it would be more fun to not have lvl restricitions for each seperate class, just say anybody between 18 and 30 can join. Also only 50 psn dmg on equip? That means you can't even use wormskull.
