Well, this has probably been suggested before, but we should be able to delete the threads we make
Say if you make a post selling an item, and you sell it, you can delete so people wont pm you asking if you still have that item
i have been pmd countless times because of that scenario
or say some drama or spam starts in your thread, you could just delete it
lmk what you guys think

just let it die out, its no problem
if you delete it, they will still ask you whether you still have it if they didnt safe the thread or even wonder why it disappeared so you will maybe even get more pms

What if someone is spamming your threads or creating drama in them?
i sure as hell dont want to wait for a med to say something

People can scam also. Delete the thread and then scam the user, so when SA Helpers ask for thread they wont have one only PM.

How bout when you delete it it goes to a forum that only meds are allowed to see? that way they can go through it if they say thread was deleted where proof of scam was

Won't happen, and rightly so. Instead, we should be given the option to simply close them, not delete them, as this will not interfere with scammer accusation cases

This would benefit scammers and people breaking the rules, in my opinion.

every thing on jsp is recorded, even if its still deleted it post will still be cached so your point is irrelevant, i find this post pointless wait 5min to 30min and post will be barried
