As you may all know, an unidentified unique Spired Helm can either be Nightwing's Veil or Veil of Steel.
Some claim that their unidentified Spired Helm is actually Nightwing's because the durability (before identification) is 40.
My question is this: Does the durability change AFTER you identify it, or BEFORE you identify it?
If the durability changes AFTER you identify, then there's a chance that an unidentified Spired Helm with 40 durability can be Veil of Steel.
But if the durability changes BEFORE you identify, then yes, it will always be Nightwing's Veil if the durability is 40.
