Man, I saw the season with 'the darkness' vs god, but it was hard to watch.

Forced myself to try the next season for at least a couple episodes before making a decision but I had to stop watching. The show became rubbish. The story lines all got so fucked up around the purgatory season.

Wish it was still as good as it was the first several seasons but unfortunately for me, the show ended after season 7.

Imo season 5 was the end of the series. Swan Song should have been the last episode. All they had to do was not put soulless Sam in the very last scene and it would have gone down as the best series finale ever.

That's how I imagine the show ended, all this stuff happening now is just like fanfic to me. Looking at it that way allows me to enjoy how cheesy it is.

Yea... That would've been a great series finale. I do still enjoy the show as sort of a guilty pleasure, but it's not as good as it used to be.

It sucks they killed off Crowley. Closing the gates of hell could have been a nice way to wind the series down and start closing up shop.

Yeah the look on jacks face definitly seemed sinister. Very sad season finale but i think lucifer and cass will be back next season.
