New season tomorrow boys.

Anyone else watching tomorrow? Can't wait to see how/if they one up God and his sister and where Sam/Dean go next.

Okay episode, nothing great though. Wonder who the woman is.

You can tell the show's lost a LOT of its luster and really scrambling for ideas. It's a shame.

I personally thought it was great and going in a good direction. Previous seasons were stuck in a loop of trying to get bigger and bigger. It is nice to see them getting new ideas rather than "the new biggest bad".

Acting was spot on and everyone still clearly enjoys doing the show.

Ditto. I actually got kind of teary with the reunion.
I spit my beer out when she was thinking about the back seat and dean realized it.
Hope mary doesn't stay too conflicted about the whole hunter thing.

Also both Sam and Dean had really great lines.

Sam being all like " I was tortured by the devil himself, what do you think you can do to me."

And Dean on the phone threatening her, totally made me thunk of when he was getting trained in hell to torture.

A good reminder of how Sam and Dean are pretty different. The one tortured in hell and the torturer made by hell.

Plus the recombination of how the Brits got shit on lock was really cool. The brothers would obviously not agree to the same system because there are good monsters so to speak, they have let many go to live peaceful lives.

Nothing really sticks out, though. Okay, their mom is alive...now what? There's no direction anymore. Not surprised though, they simply can't top God and his sister.

They aren't trying to go bigger and top God, that's the point. You seemed to miss it. It is obviously going to be about resisting the uk men of letters invasion. At least the first bit of the season. It would be cool to see them go back to normal hunting for a season, back to where it started, before ending the show.
