Michael, Lucifer, an Adam inhabit the cage. Sam is only having visions of the cage an it's probably premonitions helping the boys to the solution even though they don't know it yet, I personally think either of the Archangels will make an appearance depending on how they deal with the darkness.

I feel a lot was given away in the last episode when Metatron explained God had to sacrifice his sibling the darkness in order to create life itself.

I honestly think they'll deal with the darkness in one of two ways cause it will be one of those things that just simply can't be killed or there will be no known way to kill it. They'll lock it in the cage with Michael an Lucifer or they'll sacrifice one or both of the archangels in some way to either be rid of or lock away the darkness again with some kind of spell with Michael and Lucifer both being siblings like God an the darkness.

I thought she was suddenly going to appear and hlp Dean. I was wrong.
Filler episode, other then the last few seconds.

Funny episode.

I really hope the scene they showed for next episode, of Lucifer wasn't a old one. I liked that actor, would like to see more of him.

Even though it was a filler I really liked it

The good thing about supernatural "filler" is that are still usually essential for the overall character arc and so not really filler at all

Yeah they still help with character development
Just not story development, which is what I think normally defines an episode as filler

With the mid season finale previews, I got all giddy seeing Mark Pellegrino. It'll be interesting see how much we see of him, if it's even him and not a flashback given his time being spent on the show quantico.

will be cool to see pellegrino again

hopefully they find a way into the cage and we actually see him, instead of a type of vision

i wonder if we will see michael too..... god should just come back and bring back all the dead archangels and have an all out war with the darkness
