What even is the story line anymore?

@Frozenwater. The main story arc of season 10 is the mark of cain, it was put on the back burner after they cured dean but it will pop back up, the secondary arc is cas' failing grace.
They introduced a new power player, an old school witch named rowena (the redhead) who will have some significance this season.

In the next few episodes, we have one named "Things we left behind" after the 200th episode touched on adam being still in the cage, they may explore that arc.
Another episode is named "There is no place like home" which is a reference to oz, they may explore charlie and dorothy again.

The producers said that season 10 is going to focus on the personal arcs of the main characters(which it has), more than an overall end game like the previous seasons.

Could Castiel on purgatory juice be able to defeat Lucifer? or can lucifer ONLY die by an archangel blade?

I remember when death and Castiel met, and death was right about to kill him before he (cas) freed him. @Arsenic, what's the supernatural lore about death. If there is any.

And ive always wondered, wtf was up with old yellow eyes. What was his plan and why were his eyes yellow? lol

With enough souls, an angel can kill an arch angel (lucifer) otherwise only arch angels can harm each other.
Eve could do it because she can negate angel magic.
Death could do it, if he had a reason to.
God could do it obviously.

Yellow eyes plan was to free lucifer, everything he did was for that end.
And what do you mean what is the lore about death?

Never explained. Probably a reference to sulphur, or just a way for them to note that he is different from other demons.
They never delved too deeply into death.
Never really delved too deeply into joshua either. Jesus doesn't factor into the mythology for supernatural, but they did borrow some aspects of his story for the character joshua.

Episode #200 was awesome. Just saw it.

Man this show is good. Main story arcs in the last few seasons haven't always been that great, but episodes like these are just too good.

Shows good, Carry on my Wayward son is a perfect song for the series though. So ridiculous.
