Yeah i can't patch my diablo2 atm

i always get this error:
Code

Blizzard BNUpdate v2.72 compiled on Oct 16 2003
Log created at 11:30 pm on 03/23/2010

This patch upgrades Diablo II Lord of Destruction from version 1.12a to version 1.13c.

ERROR: unable to open archive 'C:\Programme\Diablo II\d2exp.mpq'

RESULT: Patch failed

but i clearly got this file in the correct folder ...

the game is bought as original and downloaded from the blizzard site
before the patch all was working more than fine

If you know how to use the registry editor, look for the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Diablo II

It will contain entries referring to the path names for the game. Edit them accordingly to reflect where you actually have it installed.

You'll also need to be sure you're logged in to the pc on an admin account.

To find out which user accounts are marked as Administrator accounts, please see the instructions below:

-Click Start > Control Panel and look for an icon called User Accounts.
-Double click this and it should bring up a list of users on your computer.
-Find the user account that matches your user name and have a look in the group column, it may say administrator, power user or user. This is what type of account you are logged on with. If it says administrator you should be ok.

For Windows Vista/7, in order to set the game as Administrator Mode, please follow the steps below:

1. Right click on the game icon.
2. Select "Run as Administrator"

Might help :)

Search your registry for this data string: 'C:\Programme\Diablo II\'

See what entries have it and change them to where you have the game installed.

The data string there wont work for every 1 ofc

and Search your registry for that data string

See what entries have it and change them to where you have the game installed
