no base ias meant it was going to be an offhand claw already, yeah? so its not as big of a kick in the nuts imo

If it doesn't have ias then you usually want it to be 2soc so you can shael it for main hand... but one soc forces it to be off hand wep.

for some reason i was thinking you wanted 30+ ias on mh claw. havent made a 30 trapper since d2pk was a thing lol

with 30 ias I believe you need level 7 burst of speed to hit the bp
you consider 1 from armor, 2 from rings, 1 from a base point in it and +2 from a spirit sword on swap and that's still 1 level short. Unless you would seriously consider a sigon shield on a trapper, you either need 40 ias on the claw or 2 points in burst of speed.

Or you could, you know, just not hit the bp and gain something like ~20 life/50 mana

according to german site, 20 ias needs lvl 4 BoS and 30 ias needs lvl 2 BoS to achieve 9 fpa.

that doesnt seem right though, seems wayyyy low.

/e: handscythe needs 54 and 89 ias for 10 and 9 fpa trap laying with no BoS. this is entirely conjecture at this point, but d2pk used hell resist penalty, so i might have used a fade build to make up for some of that. so a 20-30 ias mh claw w/ 2x shael, and 2x -15/6/9/10@'s in OH for permanent dual claw might have been what i played around with?
