the biggest things are to remove Vsync and Shadows in the ingame menu, and making sure that you "apply settings" before you actually move on straight away and click save! they take up the most,
try this -
vsync off,
shadows off,
antialiasing quality off,
texture quality medium,
leave antistropic filtering as is,
post processing off,
screen shake off,
apply display settings,
keep,
save.
long list of things, try with post processing both on and off
