Day 1: Luke - Chapter 1

So, this is kinda like the Encouraging Word of the Day, though this is a Daily Reading.
Every day I will post the next step in this reading plan. Each step consists of one chapter. The purpose of only reading one chapter is so that it gives you time to think and meditate on the reading and to completely absorb it.

There are three parts to this reading guide, each takes you thru the bible reading a chapter a day. The first course is relatively short being six weeks and gives a very broad over-view of the bible.

The second and third part are more in-depth and take a bit longer.

I've talked to Marcuz and he doesn't mind me doing this. I hope the mods don't mind as well.

As always, please be respectful and do not spam the topic, I do encourage discussion though on the daily reading.

You're right. Religions (Man trying to get to God) do suck, because we're all sinners and always fall short. But Christianity isn't a religion, it's God coming to us through Jesus Christ.

Although I do appreciate these words of concern and of defense, lets try to keep them to PM. I'd like to keep these posts on topic with the daily reading, as anything other can be regarded as spam as well.

Luke chapter 2 goes a bit further into Jesus' birth, discussing his upbringing.
