My issue with this is the shared guild vault for LS players. As the suggestion is currently presented you could essentially use this to avoid using the marketplace for trades by just allying yourself with whichever guild the member you’re trading with belongs to. One of the draws is this shared guild vault, as guilds with better gear to share can provide that to prospective members.

There are ways to essentially mule as it currently stands as a lot of guilds have members that guild hop, but those are usually only for larger trades and certain subsets of guilds.

The marketplace for LS serves an important purpose to the FG economy by providing a gold sink and therefore slowing/reducing the inflation of the price of FG. I don’t think I can get on board with removing one of the bigger FG sinks.

Could apply rental fee similar to how the slot fee is used now.

x amount of fg for so many slots for 30 days (with your allied guild)

Could also apply larger cost associated with having a shared vault, maybe it would be an additional set fee just to have a shared vault

I think it would need something like a rental fee + 30 day cool down upon breaking a guild alliance before entering a new one. That would probably solve both sides of the issue.

I actually really like the idea of that - x amount of days before it would become available again after disbanding.
