Proficiency ChartsIt is realized that one cannot precisely predict with certainty how many MQs it will take to reach a desired proficiency level. Variables which can greatly affect these numbers include: Gear, Cata/Arena, proficiency EE on weapons, deaths, welling, etc.
As a result, I created a charting system which will predict how many MQs it will take to complete a 5 lvl proficiency range using your current proficiency points last recorded. To do this, simply note how many proficiency points your character acquired starting at 1 and ending at MQ (don’t die) and look at the below charts.
Lets do an example:Say you recorded 4250 proficiency points last climb and your prof you are watching is currently prof 11. Look at the range of 11-15 for a # that is closest to 4250 points.
You will note that prof chart showing ‘4.5k at the 1-10 lvls’ has a 4125prof point at 11-15. This is the chart that best fits you and what will be best in your approximations. Now from reading the chart, to go from 11 to 15 in proficiency, it will take16 climbs. To go from 16 to 20 will take 24 climbs. Hence, if you wanted to know how many climbs it would take you to get to 20 from your current prof of 11, it would be 16+24=30 climbs.
Take note that I did take into account the fact proficiency isn’t attained until you reach a lvl past your proficiency.
My formulas are seen below:
Prof_Points: Simple Addition
%Climb_Get_Prof: (70 - Top_Level_in_Range) / (70)
Avg_Prof_Per_Climb: (%Climb_Get_Prof) * (variable # to make 500 multiples at 1-10 mark)
Climbs_Needed_for_Prof: (Prof_Pnts) / (Avg_Prof_Climb)
