Chase quoted page 1 which is where all the bylaws and original GM rules are boss.

"angling" where I've pk'd in the past has been not lining up straight or intentionally dodging during walk up to try to get a better position to attack from.

it hasn't included moving during a duel.. which has never been frowned upon, only if people are moving AWAY from the attacks to draw the other player to move,

moving lowers max block chance from 75% to 25% so it doesn't make much sense to penalise movement while the other person is attacking you... the other player moving drastically increases your chance to hit them after all.

the only thing to gain is moving your position so you're actually attacking. You ever had those duels where you win without taking a single point of damage and it has lasted a long time but the other guy can't hit. Well I'm of the opinion that he needs to re-set and move a little closer , then you know maybe some hits will land. Cuz sometimes bnet is a piece of shit and you gotta make adjustments.

If it gives you a disadvantage I don't see the point of moving during duel... Just don't do it

well, that's what I literally just explained - sometimes it glitches out, idk what you want to call it range bug or just lag. So you move closer because you notice you aren't landing hits and you should be.

Block % only drops when moving if you are not walking, I thought

Also thought that angling was kind of an umbrella term for a number of things, not just actual angling. Like for example, when the duel starts, if you stay put and let your opponent walk towards you, it gives a weird advantage for you

So much drama in the lbc :p

what does it matter if you do it during walk up or right in the middle of the duel... it's still intentionally dodging to try to get a better position to attack from

You line up correctly to begin with and engage your opponent. You don't get to click off of them and reset and re-engage because you perceive to be at a disadvantage based on positioning, bnet lag, or any other reason you can come up with.

Dueler 1 hits and dueler 2 doesn't so dueler 2 moves and then is able to hit, so dueler 1 decides to move and now he can hit and dueler 2 perceives to be at a disadvantage, so dueler 2 moves again, now you're fucking chasing each other around in a circle.

how fucking stupid would that be...

fine with me if moving is prohibited, *shrug* put it in the rules and call it a loss if somebody moves mid duel.
