WHILE IT IS NEW sry caps. its a pretty available card. technicly a 4890 is better spec wise. the 5770 is the better choice. hope u can get it. u wouldnt be disappointed in it for sure. jus no dx11 capibilities.
Lol well in about an hour my dad will email me the exact specs the guy said he'd build.
He's going with the same mobo I asked for (16x PCI single card, and 8x PCI for double card), 4x RAM slots, AM3 motherboard.
The parts he said he'll get are:
500GB 7200RPM Wester Digital Hard Drive
4GB (2x 2GB) 1600 DDR3 RAM
The Mobo I mentioned above
CD/DVD Burner
750W Corsair PSU
AMD Phenom 955 x4 3.20GHz
Antec 300 Case
HOWEVER: My dad phoned me back and said "I don't know the names of the stuff... but he said something about an Asus GeForce card that's better than the 5770... same price".
I don't think there's an NVidia card at the same price as the 5770 that actually runs just as well in SLI... which is what the guy is saying. :-/
5770 should be available, considering it was release how long ago? 1 month? 2?
My main point is that without DX11... what's the point of building a new rig really. :-/ I'm kinda annoyed. But since the guy says he can get everything else, I'm thinking it might be alright (better to argue over one part than a whole rig).
