H50 is working out great. Its barely audible and provides great cooling.

I have the sensor bar on a flat surface so it works the same, i have a couch behind me in which I sit to play console games and watch tv. The Television tilts down though :D

Thanks man, can't wait to see yours either.

The television is actually facing straight ahead in the same direction as my computer desk. I have a couch against the other wall to for a comfortable view, there's not enough space to keep it on the ground in my room.

I've got a netbook too. but that usually is never in use while I'm at home lol.

Can you provide the temps of your cpu? In addition to, is your CPU OC'ed?

WHILE IT IS NEW sry caps.  its a pretty available card.  technicly a 4890 is better spec wise.  the 5770 is the better choice.  hope u can get it.  u wouldnt be disappointed in it for sure.  jus no dx11 capibilities.

Lol well in about an hour my dad will email me the exact specs the guy said he'd build.

He's going with the same mobo I asked for (16x PCI single card, and 8x PCI for double card), 4x RAM slots, AM3 motherboard.

The parts he said he'll get are:

500GB 7200RPM Wester Digital Hard Drive
4GB (2x 2GB) 1600 DDR3 RAM
The Mobo I mentioned above
CD/DVD Burner
750W Corsair PSU
AMD Phenom 955 x4 3.20GHz
Antec 300 Case

HOWEVER: My dad phoned me back and said "I don't know the names of the stuff... but he said something about an Asus GeForce card that's better than the 5770... same price".

I don't think there's an NVidia card at the same price as the 5770 that actually runs just as well in SLI... which is what the guy is saying. :-/

5770 should be available, considering it was release how long ago? 1 month? 2?

My main point is that without DX11... what's the point of building a new rig really. :-/ I'm kinda annoyed. But since the guy says he can get everything else, I'm thinking it might be alright (better to argue over one part than a whole rig).

Only card in the same price range is the GTX260 which is not better than the 5770 :\!
If this is the case, the 4890 would be marginally better.

And in regards to temperatures, I will post them later on ofc.
Yes, I'm running an O/C of 2.66--->4.04

Shit that's a high OC. o_O; Multitask whore much? :D

And yeh... if he suggests a GTX260... Idk. I won't lose faith in what he does for a living, but I won't let him go ahead with the build with a GTX260. Nor a 4890. Idk... I kinda was looking forward to DX11 o_O

I thought I would post in here to show off my old setup before I throw up my new one this Christmas. Bare with me, this desk is 10+ years old, and it shows :)

If anyone is wondering about my carpet, it is green...it is shag.

For the electronics part, it's nothing special. Just enough to let me have some fun while I'm on my computer :)

Computer
2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
320GB WD HDD
2GB RAM
ATi Radeon HD 3450 - EAH3450

TV Stand
32" Sharp LCD
Xbox 360
Brother HL2140

After Christmas, I will moving the TV to my wall above the computer, and there will be a new glass desk in here. I could use the open space :)

EDIT: The TV and desk are moved away from the wall because I have been measuring it up for the wall mount and such. Also, the pictures were taken with my iPhone. Sorry for quality and size :)

Simply tell him to get the rest of the computer, or tell him to not include graphics and that you can do it yourself, the 5770 is widely available for a good price.

I bought the case for $25.00 :) Was a steal, in my opinion. Works great, and looks amazing.

The new setup is killing me right now. My GF bought me a HDMI to DVI cord and my wall mount, they are coming in the mail right now. My mom just bought me the desk, and that is coming in the mail, too. Just a few more weeks to go.

Cool setup iSamuel. And LOL at your desk and green carpet lol.

Actually... I kinda like the green carpet. In an odd kinda "omg-lol-its-a-monster-im-walking-on-a-monster-guys-!-!-!" kinda way.

I hope so. Here's the overview of the convo:

My Dad: "Well, he knows what he's talking about and it is his job"
Me: "I've done many many hours of research and I've set up computers before, and I've read the professional reviews"
My Dad: "Well just wait and see what he says"
Me: "Well I'll take a look at what he has to say. But maybe he can just assemble the computer and leave out the GPU"
My Dad: "Well... he's selling a package" <--- my dad kind-of was frustrated there (not mad but kinda that laugh frustration)
Me: "Anyways, I'll have to see what he offers. I'll wait for the spec list and see"

Hopefully he's able to get the 5770 like I'm asking for. For fuck sakes, my local Futureshop has it in stock. Newegg has so many of them in stock. Lol.
