Can someone explain exactly how the defensive properties of int and dex work? Not like guesswork, but math of some type? I'm trying to understand the reasoning of using 100-120 dex for arena and it doesnt make sense to me. When I'm 55+ I get hit for 100-300 with my lvl 45 110EE armor on for 3-4 hits and then it drops to 0 and then back to 200-300. OR I get hit for 0 a bunch of times and then I'll see one ~200. So what I assumed is that I'm being hit by a charm, not a melee, for the higher hits and then for the low or 0 hits I'm being attacked by a weapon. Am I wrong? Would higher dex help that? Right now my stats are used to maximize my avg hit for Axes (100% str, no dex) and my MQ armor/charm are both +str.
