Lupul is frequently injured and has showed up out of shape to camp in the past.
I think he is just bitter. If you want to play, work hard to stay in shape. Lot of young, talented guys on the Leafs with much more drive that want roster spots.
Guy is getting what he deserves imo.
I don't disagree with your sentiment but if he's fit to play, he has a valid contract and certain rights that come with that contract.
The Leafs just said he failed his physical when we wasn't even there, he was snowboarding elsewhere lol.
Regardless of what you think of Lupul, the Leafs are doing something weird with the rules.
