its really funny imo when ppl dont see the damage part of healer..
a normal game for a good healer he does ~20% heal actions 80% damage actions
and still most of healers use like a hm / int weapons ;D
calculate this
healer who does 30dmg avg and 700avg heal on 1000 actions game
= 30*800 = 24k
= 700*200 = 140k
thats normal healer
BUT
lets say this healer takes a EE weapon instead (lets say he had 50hm wep and now he uses 175ee wep all stat poins are in int)
it would make it like avg dmg 300 avg heal 575
= 300*800 = 240k
= 575*200 = 115k
what would serve the cata game more?
and also for ppl who say "then no enough mana"
well when you do dmg you gain exp faster and also the total game killing speed is faster so all of the ppl levels faster
this is just my 2cents ;D
truth - i was in a awesome game last night, healer was using a 125ee staff with about 500 mana on it i think. He still healed for 600 average and averaged about 140 damage, which isn't bad for a caster statted mage
300 average on a mage with base str is a TON though, thats more than alot of melee chars hit for.
