Melee/healer

Stats - All int or ~100 Int rest Str

Weapon - EE (Adds: HM/INT/DEX/STR)
Armor - HM (Adds: STR/EE/DEX/INT)
Charm - HM (Adds: STR/EE/DEX/INT)

Good Hybrid imo, good cata (Fast Group) and solo player (A little Slower)...

EDIT:

Acc. Charm: EE Charm, nn more...

My Hybrid Build (For Solo Only) -

5 initial points into Vitality, other 5 into Intelligence. Everything intelligence from there.
High EE clubs, High HM Plates, High Strength charms, with High EE regular or focused heal charm in Acc. slot.

This build can solo no problem 1-71. Faster than most solo characters. ;)

The previous guide for the magician can be found HERE

The goal remains the same.  Short, concise and fundamentally sound.

How do you build your guardian?
What stats on items do you look out for?
Do you add any extra Vitality, Intelligence, Dexterity, Strength?
Hybrid? Melee? Cata healer?

Share your knowledge and expertise!

Mana syphon / EE / Int / Heal Mastery

Full Int is best since you start with 55 vit

adding dex and str are a waste

dex is way to low to go melee without giving up a large amount of mana and healing without getting with expensive gear

Cata heal is made for starting players

for everyone other build with Guardian its simple to expensive to go mixed or even melee at that

if intended to solo or even try to melee heres a pro tip which most people dont think of

carry 2 set of items

Set 1 = Melee
Melee consists of

EE Weapon
Stat Armor (ee is just a bonus for Melee Gu)
Stat Charm (ee not req for melee)

then

Set 2 = Healer
Hm/Int Weapon
Hm/Int Armor
EE Charm

equip Set 1 and melee it up
when hp begins to run low from chain
Equip Set 2, Heal Up and Put Set 1 Back On

how to stat

add Int till lvl 20

then go rest into melee

I would say all intel up to lvl 35-40 ish... You will get loads of mana, you might loose 1-1,5k mana in the end, but the ekstra dmg at lvl 55 (for adding 15-20 str) is waaay worth it IMO

Doesn't make that big of a difference. I tried the "add strength to it" build, and it really wasn't too much
different than the build I have posted. Get high enough EE clubs, and you need no stats into strength ever.
All you need is what you get from your charm. This build can be expensive, but it works, and is worth it.

It is a very expensive build, but can definitely well, quite easily. ;)
