Please verify that your Diablo II Expansion Disc is in your CD-ROM drive, then click on 'Retry'.

Yep. Got the itch to play it again for a while. But now the CD keeps giving me this error, which I find confusing. It worked before just fine,
it just was on different laptop. Any idea what could cause this, so I could know where to start?

Is this Notebook working with Windows Vista and you used XP before ?

Then you need to download the Pacth for running it with Vista

Otherwise I do not know what to make.

I never started using Vista. I've always downgraded to XP. That's what is so confusing, the disc should be fine. I knew I should have taken the original CDs into images..

Well follow post #4, you don't need a CD to run D2 anymore.

Is this after installing?
If patch is not already installed, downlaod it manually and upgrade to 1.12
then copy remaining mpq files from Exp cd to game folder
This removes the need for cd completely
