It's doable but would be a tremendous ball ache and cost clubs a lot in travelling money/insurance/visas etc etc.

And it wouldn't be in combination with the national league, it would replace it.

Top 4 go into Europe league. The next year the current top 4 so the teams would always change and it would give "lower" teams the chance to be top of national leagues.

Like I said, it's really just a daydream thing, would be stupidly hard to implement and would cause no end of trouble.

But how entertaining would it be.
