I expect Carlo to be smart enough not to build his team around them. I do not think Blind is smart enough to leave Robben and Sneijder out of Oranje, but that is another story. We should just pay someone to cut off his leg.

Agreed, Ribery were given quite a few chances. Pep cannot help it he cannot stay fit or accept he has to fight for his place at all times.
Pep earlier discussed Ribery in his book saying apart from not being able to grasp basic tactical instructions, he just goes on dribble frenzy till he loses ball, which obvsly Pep hated in every club he went.
My view on it ? Ribery, even in his prime, would have never worked in a positional possesion style.
Give him counters to go 1 on 1 with a defender of two and he'll thrive. Not so much now, i guess, with the age and injuries.
Anyways, far from a crap player, but quite the stupid one.
