The name you choose must not already be taken. Old user accounts will NOT be deleted under any circumstances.

Yes, and also i've seen a lot of Site suggestion threads with 200+ yes and 10-15 no but paul went with the no because it'll create more work for him to handle.
And having more meds won't solve it.

Use your common sense. If someone has 0 posts from 2003, they are gone.
If they do, beyond all odds, come back, they can make a new account.
