Shackleton - Music for the Quiet Hour Part 2
It took me a long while for Shackleton to really to sink in. A lot of his tracks are long and repetitive, but the tribal ambient influences, best basslines in the game, endlessly interesting structures and great use of vocals really make him one of my favorite producers. His Fabric set (Fabric 55) really put his talents into the space they deserve, where you get completely immersed in this hypnotic and dark world. His album with Pinch was also a huge success in my eyes. Those two are guys who really know how to effectively wander out of their strongest genres to create something new and interesting.
E: Also worth noticing is his attention for detail in transitions, whether it's the Fabric set or an EP.
