You get more smite damage from maxing smite before holy shield. It appears less on the char though.

actually no, i just tested this out myself.

Test was done like this:
made 2 builds exact same gear (both had 0% crushing blow)
only diff was one maxed holy shield, and other one maxed smite
they were then both placed next to each other and traded hits (taking turns for who hits first)

Im wondering how about weapon switch, usually ppl likes to keep 3foh/3conv cta on switch with spirit, it really boosts you foh dmg besides vs grief.

You got mentioned it only in your char spec's.

yea on switch i carry a 3foh/3conviction/3 cleansing CTA with spirit shield sacred targe

the cleansing is nice when you are cursed or poisoned, and the 3foh/3conviction helps when you want that small foh damage boost
