2016 - 68r 22hr 69rbi .366 obp .452 slugging and 103 strikeouts in 116 games

so clearly 2015 was better, but with all the injuries last year, still over .800 OPS


2017 - 15r 2hr 9rbi .297 obp .256 slug 44 strikeouts in 33 games

on pace for: 10HR and 200+ strikeouts, clearly different than the last 2 years

devon travis has a .204obp and .245 slug - those are pitcher numbers.

Travis has half a year of experience, don't know if I'm surprised really. Brett Lawrie and JP Arencibia all over again.

Bautista looked bad after his injury last year. Still looks bad.
Guy can't hit anything. He looks lost AF. I bet half his strikeouts are called.

so is it too early to give up on em and drop em? are they just bad hitters with little hope in sight? or is there something behind the numbers that may lead to positive regression?
