Check the stickies. I recommend Krembanan's guide, it's awesome. Use Atma's with Mavina's diadem smile.gif

Here is a controversial Bowazon for you to try:
EDITED: This is a MIGHT merc weilding Pride (lvl19 conc) build with 89% ias breakpoint

Stats: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/classes/amazon.shtml
My personal idea on this build is simple: Frostmaiden should be hybrid stat built, whether it is Softcore or Hardcore:
Strength: Enough for gear after torch, anni and +str items: Do Not Glitch unless Hardcore.
Vitality: 20 Base: Softcore add 80-130 ___ Hardcore add 180
Dexterity: Remaining points
Energy: You will not need mana with Mana Leech items on.

Items: http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/
Andariels Visage: You may wonder why I use this item instead of a 120/45/Life or FRW circlet/coronet/tiara/diadem.
#1 +2 All Skills: This helps with: Battle Orders, Battle Command, Saves skill points for better use.
#2 20% Increase Attack Speed: Helps reach my IAS bp by adding a 40ed/15%ias Jewel
#3 8-10% Life leech: Well, I do not have to worry about buying that expensive ring.
#4 25-30 Strength: Since I am using Windforce, this helps me save stat points for Dexterity.

Windforce: You may wonder why this bow for a Frostmaiden instead of ICE Gmb or other.
#1 This yields the most physical damage, and this is needed versus all the cold immunes
#2 20% Increase Attack Speed: Helps reach my IAS bp by adding a 40ed/15%ias Jewel
#3 Has knockback, making room to use the best PvM gloves: Laying of Hands
#4 Has mana leech, this means you have cheaper magic/rare ring option, like 18+str/dmg/ar/res
NOTE: With Andy's Visage and Windforce with the Jewels, you get: Life Leech, Mana Leech, Knockback and 70% IAS

Laying of Hands: This is Missile/Melee PvM characters best glove, but, I will delve into it's benefits for new people:
#1 20% Increased Attack Speed helps to reach your desired IAS bp
#2 350% Enhanced Damage versus Demons, all bosses, and alot of tough monsters are Demons
#3 50% Fire resistence. Most attacks in certain areas are Fire.
NOTE: With Andy's Visage/Windforce (40ed/15ias jewels) and Laying of Hands, you reach the 89% IAS breakpoint
....... 9 FPA normal/Freezing Arrow: This is a good base for bowazon and leaves ammy spot open, unless using a Faith Merc

Fortitude: One of the most common armors for Bowazon (PvP or PvM)
#1 300% enhanced damage can not be scoffed at.
#2 25-30% all resistences helps
#3 +?? Life per Level is always good for any character

Razortail: This is the most common belt for a PvM Bowazon, even PvM Javazon.
#1 This has +33 to Pierce, this combined with level 9 Pierce skill, you reach 102% (100% pierce)
#2 +15 Dexterity is always welcome on a bowazon, adding 15% enhanced damage.

Ravenfrost: This is extremelly common for MOST builds.
#1 +20 Dexterity for Bowazon is gold
#2 Cannot be Frozen, this is ideal.
#3 +240 Attack rating is also helpful
#4 Cold damage, just perfect for a Frostmaiden, and the added 2 sec freeze length helps in Hell

Rare Ring: There are a number of combinations, some extremelly expensive. I concentrate on Strength.
#1 You need 17+ Strength mod
#2 Minimum or Maximum damage is a bonus
#3 ?? Attack rating is a bonus
#4 ?? resistences is a bonus
#5 Life &/or Mana Leech is a bonus (WF has ML & Andy's has LL)
#6 Added dexterity is a bonus

War Travellers: Most PvP bowazons use these.
#1 Added damage helps
#2 10 Strength is very helpful
#3 10 Vitality is very helpful
#4 ?? Magic Find, you are PvM, so some MF is good, and it falls under the 100% diminishing returns

Amulets:
In actual fact, I think it is good to have certain ammy's available, and swap to suit the area you are gaming.
..Mara's: Best for resistences/skills (pre bo) and to deal with getting to Izzy, saving Anya, WSK to Throne room: Gloams/Souls
..Atma's: Best for most areas, but better for areas with Phys Immunes like Arcane, getting to Nith & WSK lvl3 Ghosts/Harpies
..Highlords: Also a good ammy for areas with Gloams/Souls, and if using a Faith Merc
..Cat's Eye: Personally I never use this. Good for FRW/25dex and if using a Faith Merc
NOTE: For chaosing, you can use pretty much any of these amulets, I personally use Mara's.

Switch Items:
This is dependent on your setup.
Call To Arms (CtA) + Lidless Wall (I use this with my setup)
Call To Arms (CtA) + Spirit Monarch (If you have the strength, this is good)
Titans + Stormshield (If you want the FRW/DR and have Hybrid setup, then this is good)

Skills:
The skills I have selected is designed for a Frostmaiden/Strafer, you can adjust Strafe skill to adapt to Multi Shot if you so desire.
My Frostmaiden/Strafer is level 91 at the time of creating this guide, I have 6 skill points unused

20 Skill points into Freezing Arrow
20 Skill points into Cold Arrow
20 Skill points into Strafe
19 Skill points into Valkyrie
... NOTE Valk: Reach slvl27 Valk depends on setup, more on this later.
04 Skill points into Critical Strike: This reaches 61% before diminishing returns, more on this later
01 Skill point/s into Pierce
... NOTE Pierce: You want to reach level 9 skill after equipment, more on this later
01 Skill points into Pre Requisites and all other Passive skills, more on this later
...NOTES Cont'd:
...Passive skill mentioned: Valk (slvl27), Pierce (lvl9) and Critical Strike (61%) are dependent on setup.
...I use Mara's amulet, so this gives me +2 All skills making it easier to reach those skills and save points
...If you use Atma's or Cat's Eye, you will Add 1 point to those skill AND add 1 Passive Skiller to inventory (3 skill points total)
...If you use Highlord's, you can EITHER, add 1 point to those skills (3 skill points) OR add 1 Passive Skiller to inventory
...One ammy that I did not mention: Seraphs Hymn, has +2 Skills, so no change, this is a good option also.
.......If you choose to use a different helm, with some of the amulets mentioned, you will have to alter your skill distribution and inventory.

Inventory: Pre Note: Setups can be adjusted to YOUR preference.
Basic Items For Inventory:
Torch
Anni
Cube. The townportal & identify scrolls are added into the last column of your belt: (more space for charms)
....... Cube uses 4 squares, but gives 12 squares, extra 8 for collecting

Optional Items For Inventory:
Gheeds
Passive Skillers icon_pointl.gif Dependent on your setup
Bow Skillers icon_pointl.gif Dependent on your preference
Large Charms of Strength or Dexterity: Dependent on your requirements etc:
...Best mods are Hybernal (11-15 min to 21-30 max cold damage) OR Sharp (+5-6 max / 35-48 attack rating)

Optional/Required Items for Inventory:
Small Charms: Suffix & Prefixes icon_pointr.gif http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/magic/smallcharms.shtml
This is where you can build your Frostmaiden to your preference, I chose Physical Frostmaiden.
Note: I aways try to reach a minimum of 3 second "freeze length" in Hell Difficulty, and to achieve this,
you will need at least 9x Single cold dmg small charms or 5x Dual cold dmg small charms.

...Physical Frostmaiden (Damage & Ice)
...Fine small charms of Winter = 1-3 max damage / 10-20 attack rating / 4-5 min to 7-9 max cold damage
...Rest of Inventory

ALSO, if you want cheaper setup, try the M'Avinas' Frostmaiden:
