Finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on my flight home. Definitely liked it but the ended kinda dragged a bit.

I felt the same way. It was another Marvel movie. Lots of pandering humor, basic setups, bland aw/tense moments, and overly predictable outcome. I still thought it was enjoyable, but they have fucking got to change up the formula for these movies eventually. Actually, you know what, they don't lol. It's working, it's making them tons of money, and the masses are eating this shit up. Regardless of whether or not I think most Marvel movies are shit, and if I know that even the good ones are generic and spoon fed to us, it's a working model and why would they change something that works?

On a side note, I am glad that more and more studios seem to be taking chances on story-driven comic book takes, and that public opinion of these has been pretty good thus far. Logan was a HUGE success, and easily one of the best comic book movies ever made. Hopefully that success will keep more of these types of films, with original and entertaining content, vs this cookie-cutter Marvel model that's had me yawning for over 5 years now.

Was a pretty good movie with some cute girls to keep you watching. Identity is still my favorite mutiple personality disorder movie.

Dark brutal anime of the golden age of eastern animation. Freaking awesome.

Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust - pretty cool one. Great animations and interesting characters, worth watching just for the visuals alone
The Place Promised in Our Early Days - Boring and overwhelmingly melodramatic
Wicked City - Soft porn with monsters, expected more
Neon Genisis Evangeleon - The End of Evangelion - Liked the show to some parts, hated the ending though. This alternate theatrical ending was pretty good. Confusing here and there but comprehensible if you put in some time. Even if you don't understand whats going on you get some impressive looking visuals. Realy liked it

That movie is fucking incredible. Although I find it interesting that you hated the ending of the show but still enjoyed the movie.

It's the only anime that I've actually watched from beginning to end, and I watched it just so I would be able to see this movie after I was finished.

I didn't like the ending of the anime show, the last two episodes to be exact. Apparently they ran out of money and had to improvise. The movie End of Evangelion was produced a few years later as an alternate ending as far as I understand it. And I agree, it's awesome, realy liked it.

Just finished watching the rebuilt movies, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0. Liked 1 and 2 but the third one is a mess. Still looking forward to the fourth one though. Just an unique and interesting universe. Probably would like it more if the main character wasn't such a whiny bitch and was overall a little bit less melodramatic.
