When Harry met Sally.

Surprisingly entertaining rom-com. It enters the realm of familiar, cheesy, genre teritory in the last part, but, most of the film is extremely funny without being too melodramatic, and thus, I still found it highly enjoyable!

Dark Skies 2013 - saw it on Space and the tv guide described it as the 1929 film but it clearly wasn't and after i watched it i understood why they tried to bury it.

its pretty creepy.

Solace (2015)

Pretty bad. I figured this was the director's first movie, but it's actually his second one. Why did I think that? Well, because he uses all kinds of visual effects like, color contrasts, slowmo, strange camera angle changes, and several other eccentricities... it felt like a guy who was finally given the chance to direct the film and decided to try everything he could come up with to make a cool work of art. And well, some of the things he does are ok, but in general they feel soulless, uncalled for and don't mix well. At least he tried though, so kudos for attempting to do something different... just hope that next time he is less naive or pretentious (not sure which one). The story and the acting is pretty bad too, and the characters are flat. Overall it's not complete garbage because it has its decent moments, but it's definitely bad.

Days of Thunder

Bought a nice Bluray Collection wtih Tom Cruise movies. Days of Thunder ist the first one I watched. Typical role for Tom's early acting roles, young hotspur who has to get over his bloated ego to get a better person. Harmless entertainmet, nothing special nor memorable. Feels like Top Gun with cars.
The scene with him describing slipstream with condoms as if it were some timetravel technology was hilarious ^^
