Ghost (1990)

I was expecting a total chick-flick, but fortunately it wasn't the case. While still a bit of a silly and idealized romantic drama, it also adds some pretty entertaining comedy and some action into the mix. Not a great movie, but an enjoyable one.

Moonrise Kingdom (2012)

Very strange movie. I guess you gotta think like a kid to thoroughly enjoy this silly movie, since it indeed is for kids. It has four big-name actors, though: Edward Norton, Bruce Willis, Bill Murray, and Tilda Swinton. It had a comical feel to it. Really silly movie, lol. But not the kind I'd watch over and over. It was really strange and I'm not sure if there really was a point or a conclusion or whatever. For kids and kids only, I guess.

No rating. No opinion whatsoever. Not sure..

I thought the cinematogrpahy was great (as usual from Wes Anderson), and that alone was reason enough for me to enjoy it. Wouldn't really consider it a kids movie, but rather a movie aimed for adult viewers, with the goal of bringing them nostalgia and the feeling of innocence they've forgotten over the years. Even if the characters are kids, I don't think this romance-drama story is one a kid relates to... I think it's easier to relate to the characters and story of this movie when you're an adult and you look back at your childhood.

But that's just my opinion :P
