You may add the 5 PSkulls + Rare recipe because it's similiar (just a little more complicated) and also very usefull.

Another nice guide Faelwen.

If you have to repost at any time, it might be good to include the following actual odds in your summary just to stop people considering wasting time on Monarchs and Javs:

1) Any skiller, > 30 and >40 life.
2) Specific skiller, life as above
3) JMoD
4) 6/40s **Incidentally, do you know the true odds of this one? I've never found anywhere reliable for the odds of the 1-3 automod, so I estimated no more than 1 in 3, but I think it may well be lower than that.

Also take a look at the line breaks if you repost. They got mullered in the pasting.

Well, I am still waiting for the mods to repay me x times 5 FG for closing the previous guides due to harmless external links ... so much for those rules >.<

I might actually get around to writing one such table soon. Worst and best odds of cubing some of the desired affixes, I should think.

About the 6/40's, I have not yet been able to find any source on auto mod odds. Unless someone sheds some light on this, I will probably just assume +(1-3) being equally likely. The odds are horrible enough already.

That would be 6, if I am not mistaken ^^

Trouble with that recipe is, the output Ilvl (and hence the alvl) decreases with each roll,

Ilvl = int(.4 * clvl) + int(.4 * ilvl)

I would only use it for Diadems, because they maintain alvl 99 (as mentioned in [2]).

Hopefully, this will make you reach the conclusion that cubing for 313 or 451 psn SCs, JMoB, JMoD, and 6/40 Amazon Javelins is most likely a waste of gems.

Also note that GCs from Diablo, Nihlathak, or Baal are statistically best for cubing skillers with a random amount of Life.
