so is luffy as strong as the navy and or a yonko now?

prrobably not.. I think he can fend them off for a lil bit, but in the end, yonko/admiral will beat him

not with gear 4th. While in that mode specifically, Luffy is easily on par with several of the top

i actually think hes not strong enough..
if he can only last so long vs doffy, and Doffy KNOWS he cant fuck with kaido

then he wont last vs akainu or kuzan, who fought for 10 days... they literally scarred an island beyond repair
maybe he can keep up with them but defeating them would be far fetched.

room for improvement for sure. But to be fair, the luffy vs doffy fight was not a good indicator of anything on either side. Doffy was injured by Law, Luffy was injured by Doffys clone and Bellamy.

Except kuzan versus akainu i dont recal any fight being on paar. In all of the fights, luffy had some kind of help, and thats the point of the show... To have a crew or friends you can relay... not some 1vs1 things

this. plus stamina issues. i think if gear 4th wasn't so taxing on him, he could maybe hold his own against an admiral for some time.

i'm thinking the admirals also vary in strength. ie: it seems like luffy might be able to hold off issho in a fight or possibly go even with him whereas he might get absolutely destroyed by akainu.

also, im getting the feeling that the yonko are on a different level than the admirals. to me doffy might be admiral level or stronger than an admiral but they don't come near the strength of the yonkos.
