and even with his body being harder he doesn't have enough power to hurt doflamingo (unless he used gear 3 but then he's too slow)

I think most likely the vulcanization thing is probably it...if his body is harder then the armament would make it even harder thus more power without giving up his speed because of expanded mass

but who knows im probably wrong oda never ceases to surprise me

Lol I was browsing wikipedia for vulcanization to see if this theory has any base(imo it doesn't btw, seeing as even modern vulcanized rubber isn't exactly steel-level-tough so whats the point when he can just use haki anyway)

Anyways found that some guy called "Hancock" had invented some machine related to the rubber creation. coincidence? i think not :lol:

It seems you misunderstand. the harder rubber IS vulcanized rubber. so for you to say it's not that, but say it's probably vulcanized rubber is a contradiction. Anyways, now we know what gear fourth is. However, I have no idea what he is doing. lol
