i started reading one piece from the beginning (i started watching the anime first until i caught up and got impatient and that's when i picked up the manga)

there are a lot of things that I missed or that wasn't in the anime

also does anyone here love the sky island arc as much as i do? the symbolism was too unreal.... and that wiper guy's determination just gave me a e-b0n3r. def one of my fav off-main characters in the anime. when i first saw that ending of the episode of them going to sky island i was like holy fuck this is really happening

and that luffy's fight with enel was fkn op.... esp when enel realized 1st time that lightning doesn't work against him that facial expression was the best LLOLLLLLLLLLL

and the 1st mention of roger on poneglyph

the unforgotten promises of ancestors on both sky and land..... a lot happened in that single arc and i absolutely loved it but most ppl don't like sky island arc.... idk

THINK ABOUT IT! How the fuck does a shark bite off shank's arm if he has conqueror's haki, meaning he has armament haki along with it. Or observation haki to notice there's a shark there and avoid it
