so yeah my pc is old and sucks balls.

ordered this card from newegg and was reading some decent reviews and some mixed stuff.

P4 3.4 northwoods
1 gig of dual channel value ram
intel mother board
480W (550W max w/e that means exactly) thermaltake PSU that does 18A on the 12V rail.

although it seems to work ok, i can't get half life 2 episode 1 to work... yet episode 2 runs just fine.

i keep getting some errors whenever i try to load it, saying something like internal driver error.

i've tried the archived drivers for the agp version, and i've also tried reinstalling the episode 1 itself.

any ideas?

if you can help me get it to work i'll gladly fork over a few HR's and 320's (unperm) from some old mule i still got...

Get the actual error, it will help greatly.

ok great will do, actually i think i get the readable error when i just try to change resolutions... HAHA

when i actually try to load the game it kills my pc and the shit full on reboots...

so weird how episode 2 runs fine and even at 1024X1280, yet episode 1 is pure ass.
