hi i use photobucket and i would like to know how to make something like this:

( id like to know how to crop certain things out without a backround and add cool letering with shadows)

You can either use gif format and make the background a color thats not in any of the rest of the sig, then make that color transparent, or you can use PNG24 (preferred)

Just make sure you delete the background layer before you save it.
