Watching the Melancholy of Harui Suzumia right now, and I am Pissed, I can understand recycling some of your material, And I don't mind a little deja-vu episode here and there... BUT 7??? 7 FREAKIN EPISODES WITH THE SAME FREAKIN PLOT? This is a god damn unforgivable sin, I can't understand how this anime gets some 10/10 on MAL, the fact that they pulled that shit knocks it down automatically to a rating of 6/10, it doesn't matter what they do next, it doesn't matter what their excuse is it's unforgivable, I can't honestly recommend this anime to anyone just because of this arc. (if you can even call it an arc). E: I'm not done with the series, I'm simply a few episodes in on the 2009 series the rest of the episodes better deliver
