Finally got around to watching the third Berserk film; blew the first two out of the water. My issues with those were there was too much important shit left out. With this third one, being someone who's only on volume two of the manga, it was nice having some more in-depth explanation regarding what happened post-Eclipse and some backstory with the Skull Knight. The framerate of the animation felt much smoother than the first two as well.

Watching the Melancholy of Harui Suzumia right now, and I am Pissed, I can understand recycling some of your material, And I don't mind a little deja-vu episode here and there... BUT 7??? 7 FREAKIN EPISODES WITH THE SAME FREAKIN PLOT? This is a god damn unforgivable sin, I can't understand how this anime gets some 10/10 on MAL, the fact that they pulled that shit knocks it down automatically to a rating of 6/10, it doesn't matter what they do next, it doesn't matter what their excuse is it's unforgivable, I can't honestly recommend this anime to anyone just because of this arc. (if you can even call it an arc). E: I'm not done with the series, I'm simply a few episodes in on the 2009 series the rest of the episodes better deliver
