Ok you may say that the wind druids are a 1.10 cookie cutter class, but not many people know how to play or build one....... well ill tell you how i built mine. Not only are they destructive in pvp, but with cyclone armor recast every few seconds they can walk through almost all of hell unscathed. This guide will be brief but no to vague you cant grasp the concept, as said before the elem druid is for the more experienced pvper.
Stats:
str-156 "I never rely on charms or gear to keep my equipment on"
dex-could get over 200 depending on your level keep 75% block
vitality-whatevers left
energy-0
-- ill say again ZERO!
Skills:
cyclone armor
twister
tornado
hurricane
oak sage
max all of the wind spells and rest into oak sage "oak is a preferance, it dies rather quick so spirit of barbs maybe a wise choice as well"
With these skills and the proper gear, you will absorb around 2500 dmg and do 4500 tornado dmg, hurricane is a party trick unless your opponent is wearing rags and a using a tooth brush for a weapon.
Gear: Ok we all know gear is debatable, Ill give you a few scenarios and the typical set up.
Alright for rushing screwing around or pvp against melee heres the gear of my choice.
Helm- shako
armor- +2 valor
sheild- storm shield "always"
boots- silk weaves or marrow walk "fun for confusing newbs"
weapon- Well I use a wiz spike and the earth shaker, if there is any need for res use the wizzy if no need get the super dmg bonus wearing the +3 earthshaker
ammy- maras, +3 elem
rings- raven and dwarf
This works extremely well in most all cases, most people will die in 1-2 tornados if it doesnt go right around them like its whacked on drugs. If they get mad "lol" and get their FIRE SORC, cuz we know everyone has one now, heres the setup for them or any sorc .
Helm- spirit keeper "mad resist and absorbs"
armor- +2 valor still, you should have max resist already so no magi
sheild- STORM!!
boots- silk weaves or marrow walk
weapon- wizzy
ammy- maras if a cold sorc or nozo if fire sorc "fire res ammy"
rings- 2 ravens or 2 dwarfs
Just chase them untill they get stuck on something or click off screen it will happen and cast cyclone in between getting orbed fb'ed and youll be untouched once they are laying on the ground in a knot.
