it doesnt matter how old it is, the factors that go into a cars top speed are weight, power, and your drag coefficient. his car is lighter than mine and has more power, mine probably has a lower drag coefficient but id still bet his has a higher top speed. mine could mb go faster but it has real close ratio gears and 5th gear redlines at 132.

audi seems to keep the mechanical aspects of his car in well maintained condition, i have confidence he can hit 138 mph.

no you werent. i have an 05 sti. the limiter doesnt even go to 165.

Clearly, my car isn't stock. The electronic limiter is bypassed by my UTEC EMU.

Is there a point you're trying to prove?

Regardless of my mods - which I have a few - 10 or so. My car does go over 170+mph - I've been at that speed with it.

ive done over 185 in my vette and im sure my sti is capable of the same speeds. im just wondering if youre like the rest of the fucking idiots on this forum who doesnt have a clue on what theyre talking about.
and no i dont get mad. its pointless on a forum. now if it was someone on a track who would make an illegal cut then i might be a bit pissed.
