You were saying how hitting 99 is for no life loser-esque leechers who are afraid of dying.
I made an example of the risks a CS barb takes every game by not being a leecher. And 98-99 without any shrine takes 2156 runs. Then there is the fact that you'll find shrines every now and then in the chaos sanctuary or on the way to Nih, so you can chop off another 200 runs or so. With runs taking just a decent average of 2.5 mins, that is 4750 minutes, or just over 79 hours of game play. At 3 hours of actually Baaling per day, that is just under 28.4 days.
Not that bad really.

Okay,

1st, I never said those who go for 99 are no life. Au contraire, I said they aren't newb and somehow make their way to 99.

2nd, your 2156 runs whitout shrine is flawed.

3rd, its impossible to spawn Diablo, kill Nith and top Baal in 2.5min.

Any person that hit 99, who reads this will laugh at you. Please revise your number before posting non-sense.

PS: I had 99 in HC and baaled with people who had multiple 99's and you numbers is completely wrong.

Well, here is the math:
291mil from 98-99. You receive 130-145k exp per run (I calculated it at 135k). Then you have number of runs required. Then we agree to knock off 200-250 runs from exp shrines. Multiply by 2.5 for an average run time. Now divide by 60 to go from minutes to hours. Now divide by 3 for hours per day. You get about 24-28 days depending on how many runs you take off from exp shrine estimations.

And yes, it is very easy to do diablo and nih within a 2.5 min run and get back for wave3. I do it every game without maphack (hate going all 4 ways to find nih ><).

98- 99 is give or take 2k-2.3k~ runs.. and getting nith dialbo and baal in 2.5 mins is no where near impossible... and yes i have a 99 so don't jump to conclusions

Yea, realistic is 2k-2.3k runs since you can't always find good runs all day and have to just wing it for some exp while waiting for good runners.

EDIT: but then again you can always refuse to play in nooby games and do it in under 2k runs by not playing certain days lol.

Theory and practice is 2 different things. Multiply that time by 2 and it will give a more realistic time-frame.



I can guarantee you that it's impossible. No matter if you have TMC, Redvex plugins, CS bot or auto-tele. Spawning diablo, opening your own tp for Nith, killing Baal under 2.5 min is just impossible. Best is to get someone CS while someone else tele and a 3rd guy shrine you. Everything is set up before you join the game. Getting to 99 should be a team work, that's why unlike you, I don't consider any who hit 99 to be newb.

That's taking in account you:

- Always full game
- Always have a cs'er
- Always kill Nith
- Almost always shrine

I estimated with other people that it was more like 2.5k runs.



Please make sure you read that he was specifying he had the time to spawned Diablo himself. Which in this case is impossible. A bit of reading should help.

Okay, I do spawn Diablo myself.
And I am always my cs'er. Games with 2x 98's almost always fill. I always kill nih since its fast and ez exp. And getting an exp shrine 1/10 runs isn't unlikely.
