I'm returning to d2jsp after a few years.

I reset my password this morning. It forced me to reset my gold password when I did this.

When I tried to send gold, it said my gold password was incorrect. This lasted for a few hours and I could not reset/change the password.

Several hours later I was able to change the password again. Like before, D2JSP forced me to change both passwords.

I was able to send gold one time. Then the very next attempt it said my password was incorrect again (I entered the exact same password).

Is this normal? What is happening? Is there some kind of limit on the amount of times you can send gold per day or something?

Hi, could it be that you have automatic password fill-in enabled in your browser/ on your phone and it's entering your previously set password by mistake?

Ya, I definitely do have the auto-fill password thing turned on, but I manually deleted it and retyped the password myself.

Alright I see. Are you experiencing the exact same error both from mobile and your PC? Did you try different browsers to check if that changes anything?

Do you have any active proxies or other IP altering software?

I took your advice and tried logging into JSP with a different browser after resetting my passwords again. I'm on Microsoft Edge rn. That seems to have worked! I'm able to send gold again.

(This leads me to believe your suspicion about Chrome's auto-fill feature was valid. I think even after I replaced the auto-filled pw, chrome might have been overriding me or something)

you are most likely correct. chrome's auto-fill feature is buggy as hell. our lead dev even had arguments with the chrome team about it once

This, Edge and Chrome are pretty bad. Maybe check out other alternatives in the near future.
