Sry but I tried to google it, checked reddit posts or old d2jsp topics but most of the discussion ended up with offtopic or flaming each other due to different opinions.

So the question is: for P8 ww barb, is really 2x PB grief the best option?
By P8 I mean TZ, CS, pit, trav, cows etc... - not only boss sniping.

I swear I saw some discussion about grief/death or grief/ebotd in late 2023 but it ended without conclusion.

Yeah it is

Dual wield checks twice as often as 2hander

Your range will be smaller but if you keep your whirls tight that shouldn't matter much

I prefer frenzy to ww for p8 barb solo I found the clear speed superior

For terror zones I recommend maxing increased stamina, keeping the frenzy buff between distant packs is nice QoL

Yeah 2x Grief is your best option. I had heard someone has experimented with Grief + Phoenix or even double Phoenix and infinity merc, with a enchant buffbot sorc performing fairly well but I don't have any data on that.

Personally also used 2x Death on WW barb. It's not as good as 2x Grief but wearing 2 big ass swords is just kinda cool

Can't really go wrong with this setup, and just reading the theory from the other thread...I'd be more then willing to bet this is the optimal build pvm P8

Guillames is by far a superior helmet option to arreats for pvm

Highest dps AND aoe (overall clear speed) is…
Frenzy (ww cant proc ctc)
2x cmoon (-70res, tons of static procs doing most of the job on p8)
Infinity merc (95% hit chance with shit ar, extra -85res)
1-99 light dmg scs = ~6x more dmg than +3max dmg scs after all %ed and str bonuses


This build has trouble leeching due to much lower phys dmg, but you can use dracs for lifetap to fix this and you still reach max ias frenzy after a few stacks (also some pts in increased stamina like it was mentionned before).

Unpopular opinion, but 2x faster than anything that was suggested.
Lot of people gonna hate on this as usual.
The few who tried so far were mindblown.

And yet again - the question was about WW WEAPON, not the best build.
