Not sure this is the correct section of the forum. But I only plan to stream D2R, so try to post here.

So lately I've been streaming a lot on twitch when doing leveling services. But currently I keep it mostly muted and non-interactive.
But been considering changing this, though my knowledge about streaming is very limited.

Most of my questions are audio related. And not sure how I would google most of the terms needed.

Is it possible to decide what audio is passed to the viewers?
1. Viewers should not hear windows notifications (d2jsp) or audio from browser (when watching tv-series)
2. Playing music to on the stream, but not hearing it myself.
3. Having a small window with only the twitch chat on my secondary monitor.
4. Getting a notification sound when some one types in chat, just so I get used to check and respond to chat. (obv not something viewers can hear)

No idea on any of those questions

1) have a few audio channels vs desktop audio setting
if you are using obs go to the audio mixer panel -> click the verticle dots -> advanced audio properties -> tracks for each of your source rows
2)same as above
3) open your stream in a browser -> bottom right cog wheel -> scroll down to pop out chat
4) that you will probably need a chat bot to do but there are plenty to choose from to setup custom actions

I played 2 hours D2R today

Rolled a 35 Fcr/95 mana spirit shield sacred targe 44 all resist. Took 12x Rerolls lol

Been grinding hard and streaming for 14 hours today. sorc went from lvl 96.7 to lvl 98.1!

I suggest removing push notifications for jsp. Same as you would for anything that shouldn't pull your attention away from what you really want to care about and when.
If you Actively choose the things you do and when you do them: Then life becomes about your choices Doesn't exclude the possibility to be influenced, but... certainly lowers the risk of realizing you've done nothing that You wanted a few years down the line.

My two cents! Go for d2 streaming, though!
Any mini-game you'd push forward if you get a good following?

I really care about d2jsp and whatever users trying to get a hold of me by PM. For now it would just be D2R. And then PoE2 when it comes out. Maybe something like D4 if they ever get some proper fixes to the game.

Gave some very solid advice. Though it's my bad that it won't fit to my needs as I forgot to mention that I a secondary PC "my server" to stream with.

So had to some a bit of research and I need to physically connect these two PCs with sound channels like with an audio mixer.
Audio hardware has never been much of an interested for me like PC hardware and monitors, so I'm green in this area!

Thinking of splurging on it a fairly good setup. Wife said I could also add it to my birthday wish list as it's coming up in 9 days.
Would love some input on this though!

My full setup is in my profile. But this should be the important notes:
Dual PC for streaming.
I do not use a headset! Instead my Audio is from my soundbar: Creative Sound Blaster Katana V2.
Right now my microphone is the MAONO AU-PM421 set that I picked up at a huge discount 3 years ago https://www.amazon.com/Microphone-MAONO-Professional-Livestreaming-Broadcasting/dp/B085WQBM8M/
Microphone in itself is "okay". But the microphone arm is like 2inches to short and not of a particular good quality. So definitely need a better mic boom arm.
Also feel like the mic takes a bit to much of the soundings, though things like discord noise suppression does handle it okay. But might as well get a better mic?

So far these seems like decent options, but again I have almost no knowledge on the subject:
Mixer: Roland Bridge Cast (not sure why it's so expensive in US, but here it's only 135usd)
Microphone: Shure MV7X (Only XLR version)
Microphone Arm: Rode PSA1
