It's been a while since I have played and don't quite remember how it works, was hoping you guys could refresh my memory.

Does it give max sockets?
Example. it would give 4 on a white monarch or 4 on eth armors?

Also does defense bug still exist with eth armors?
If we cube the sockets the armor doubles?

it usually gives max sockets but if the item lvl is really low it won't. i think.

E bugging is no longer a thing unfortunately.

This is true.

A crystal sword found from normal cows will get 4 sockets even though the max sockets on a crystal sword is 6.

For magic items there is a 50/50 chance between 1 and 2 sockets.

All monarchs will get 4 sockets because they don't drop early enough to have an item level low enough to get less than 4 sockets.
