Has anyone seen this before?

Just completed Izual in Hell (had the quest available).

After it finished, quest greyed out, spirit never came, and Tyrael in town had nothing to offer.

Even checked my skill log. Nothing! Remade game, it now shows complete with same results...

Any advice? Kinda sucks to permanently lose 2 skill points.

Never happened to me before, strange bug, sure you didn't accidentally place the skills and not realize?

What level are you and what other skill quests have you completed (assuming all in other difficulties?) post how many skill points you end up having at respec and that will tell you if truly a bug or not.

I was level 84 with 95 skills allocated, so thats 83 + 12. Seems to add up.

The only bug then is the quest log showing Izual as incomplete (which is why I decided to do it) and then completing after killing him (for the 2nd time).

Very odd, D2R has Quest interface bugs because I've noticed similar issues before with quests showing as not complete.

i have never had this happen to me before and i have made thousands of characters. this might just be human error. make a new game then interact with npc's and reattempt. i have attempted this quest before when it was done by me or done in a game where quest was void.

Couple seasons ago I had a char where the hell forge Q in hell didn't drop anything at all and marked the quest as complete.
I later checked that character once it went to non-ladder and the quest was available to do again. Very weird. Maybe check the character again in a couple days.

yeah that seems to be what happened to me. Quest came back, and confused me.
