The entire d4 system of farming mats to do literally anything sucks so much ass. Making players do something mind numbingly boring that poses no challenge whatsoever in order to do the content they actually want is atrocious

I suppose that’s the closest thing to a grind Diablo 4 can give us. Instead of farming for a jah, we farm for a mat.

But you can farm wherever you want in d2 for a jah. D4 is like if you had to farm nm den of evil to do any content in hell

I don’t understand the analogy my friend. It’s just grind 1-100 solo on hardcore in about 2-3 gaming sessions or in 1 massive session in a group. I don’t use Ubers albeit I have some plenty of them. I think d2r is much more difficult than d4
