So we have all probably heard about D4 bricking some GPUs during beta testing.

I have MSI 3080 Suprim GPU and have been playing preseason and season 2 and it was fine.

Now I downloaded PTR and 2 times while doing the first quest got black screen after some time in the dungeon, the monitor showed that it lost signal and GPU was going like crazy. I turned off my PC by holding power button immediately.

Then I lowered max FPS limit to 100 and was able to finish the first quest, entered the town and was doing some testing with crafting items and then it happened again. I turned off PC again and when I turned it on again it passed the BIOS screen but then was showing GPU artifacting crap. I reset PC again and it was still showing the same artifacting...

I thought that's it, it fkin bricked my GPU. But then I waited for 10 minutes for GPU to cool down because it was hot as a stove after cooking, now it turned on normally and fortunately haven't seen no artifacting yet. Screw this PTR testing, already uninstalled. Be careful I guess.

Not rly... Didn't have any issues with other games or even D4 after release. It's about client not being optimized and now once again they give it to the public to take the risk.

And then when shit goes wrong they put the blame on manufacturers:

Those articles are from 2023, are there more reports for the PTR? I’d like to play but not at the risk of my GPU

I'm pretty sure playing D4 at launch also killed my 3080. So many freezes during playing, and then went had a random blue or green screen (forget color now) and then just dead.
