I think this would be a fairly reasonable way to take workload off the shoulders of the volunteer mediators and clean up the forums at the same time.

How it would work:

Upon the OP removing the topic from their tracked topics, the topic would be automatically closed instead of however it is done now.

My reasoning as to why:

9 times out of 10, when an OP removed a topic from their tracker they are done with it. No sense in wasting anyone's time or efforts editing in "done" or "close topic" and waiting for a human to manually close the topic to remove it from the forum.

Topic closure is reserved for rule violations, not for when a trade "expires" or is no longer available.

As such, this is not a feature that will be added, sorry.
