best way to check is to join a game in different regions

once in game, type /fps in chat and it will show your fps + ping

Thanks for the response, wouldn't that require making multiple accounts as once you select a region for your account that's it? I really just want to make one and get it right first try

you can change regions as often as you like on the same characters.
it is available next to the play button

so if i create a character in Asia called "ABC123" and level up to 50 if I want to I can then just play that same character in a different region? go back to the original region as well?

yes, switch region whenever u want and join on ABC123

and you keep all items and everything? I played the original literally 20 years ago I don't remember being able to do this lol

Regular D2 did not allow this but in D2r you are able to.

And yes. Everything on you account stays.
